ABOUT US
About Four Lanterns Winery
Four Lanterns focuses on creating estate-grown wines that are beautifully complex, balanced and a joy to drink. The grapes are sourced from the winery’s two estate vineyards. The Glass Hawk Vineyard resides on 35 acres on the West side of Paso Robles in the formidable Willow Creek District. Through commitment and respect for the land and soil, Glass Hawk Vineyard was awarded the “Certified Organic” designation by the CCOF in 2024. The second vineyard, Jackie’s Vineyard, comprised of 20 acres of Bordeaux varietals, is just east of Glass Hawk and is nestled in the Templeton Gap AVA. This area is renowned for its hot days, cool night, and calcareous-riddled stone soils. Four Lanterns wines are naturally an expression of the strength of the land, the elegance of the grape varietals and the artistic intent of our winemaker.
The atmosphere at the winery is relaxed and friendly, although the staff’s passion for and knowledge of wine are easy to discern. Feel free to ask questions, order a tasting flight, enjoy a glass, or share a bottle with friends.
About the Gleasons
The Gleasons left corporate America in 2013 to launch Four Lanterns Winery. Jackie manages the tasting room and has created a warm, welcoming, and friendly atmosphere for wine lovers. Steve is focused on extracting the natural strengths of the Gleason’s vineyards, (climatic and geographic), to craft complex and enchanting wines.
The sense of family is palpable at the winery’s park-like outdoor setting. Steve and Jackie have chosen to create a direct-to-consumer business because they enjoy interacting with their customers. Steve often says he likes nothing better than to see peoples’ eyes light up when they have their first sip of Four Lanterns wine.
