About Four Lanterns Winery
Four Lanterns Winery, named after the owner’s four daughters, is celebrating their 10th year in 2023!
Steve and Jackie Gleason moved to Paso Robles after visiting family for many years and haven’t looked back.
Four Lanterns resides on 35 acres on the west side of Paso Robles in the formidable Willow Creek District. This area, renowned for hot days, cool nights and soil riddled with calcareous stone, provides a perfect environment for making exceptional wines. Jackie’s Vineyard, located in the Templeton Gap District, is the location where their Bordeaux varietals grow.
Four Lanterns focuses on making estate wines, capitalizing on the natural strengths of their land, the expression of the varietal(s), and artistic expression of our winemaker, Steve. The resulting wines are beautifully complex, balanced, and wonderful to drink.
In addition to the quality of the wine, the atmosphere of the winery is relaxed with friendly and knowledgeable staff who are passionate about wine! Feel free to ask questions to learn more about our winemaking process, or simply enjoy a glass of wine in a comfortable & cozy setting.

About the Gleasons
Before creating Four Lanterns, Steve and Jackie Gleason had been visiting Paso Robles for thirty years. Steve worked in institutional money management, while Jackie worked as a Physical Therapist. Launching Four Lanterns Winery satisfied a desire to leave the corporate world behind and start their own business together.
The Gleason’s moved their four daughters from Southern California to Paso Robles and opened Four Lanterns Winery. Since opening, the Gleason’s have worked continuously to improve their family business. They built a state-of-the-art production facility in 2015, which enabled Four Lanterns wines to be estate grown and produced.

Brix – The Vineyard Dog
Brix, aka Mr. B or Sir, is a beloved member of the Four Lanterns team that often greets visitors at their car doors and helps create a welcoming atmosphere. His friendly and sociable demeanor makes him an excellent ambassador for the winery as he adds to the charm and character of the winery.
He is often found lounging in the sun while desperately giving you puppy dog eyes for your snacks, but he also takes his responsibility to entertain children and other dogs very seriously. If you’re looking for a warm and welcoming experience at a winery, you’ll likely find it with Brix by your side.
